Event Help Guide > Minimum Requirements The following requirements may exceed your current system configuration however, these specifications
are recommended in order to provide an optimal experience listening to/and or viewing events powered by ON24.
Hardware and Operating System Configurations
200 MHz or faster
64 MB RAM minimum/128 MB recommended
16 bit sound card
65,000 (16 bit) color video display card
Windows 2000/Windows XP (or)
Apple Mac OS X 10.4
If you are using older or unsupported versions of Windows, Unix, or Mac operating systems, you may experience difficulty in viewing and/or listening to the event.
In order to access the event, you must have either Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or Mozilla Firefox 1.5 browser for Windows operating systems. For accessing events via Mac operating systems you must have Mozilla Firefox 1.5.
To determine the version installed on your computer, complete the following steps:
Open the browser.
Click the Help menu.
Click About.
Close the About window.
You can download a newer version of each browser by clicking on the icons below.
Before you access the event, you should ensure that your browser is configured to stream media. For Audio events you will need a minimum Internet connection of 28.8Kbps and above. For Video events you will need a minimum Internet connection of 56Kbps and above.
In order to access the event, your computer must have cookies and JavaScript enabled. If your operating system currently does not have cookies or JavaScript enabled, contact your network administrator or reference the help links located on the registration page.
To enable cookies support when using Internet Explorer 6.0, complete the following steps:
Run Internet Explorer
Click on "Tools" on the menu at the top
Click on "Internet Options"
Click on the "Privacy" tab
Click on the "Advanced" button
Select "Override automatic cookie handling"
Select "Always allow session cookies"
To enable cookies support when using Mozilla Firefox 1.5, complete the following steps:
If you are viewing a non-streaming version of an event or webconference, you may need to download the latest Java Virtual Machine. Go to http://java.com/en/index.jsp to download the latest Java Virtual Machine.
